thrown and glazed work

These are a selection of thrown bowls and plates. I use a white stoneware clay which gives a blank canvas on which to experiment with colourful glazes. Glazes are poured, and trailed onto the bisque-fired surface. It's facinating to see how each glaze reacts with another. It's always an exciting moment when the kiln door is opened!
